Moonlight By Christine Swiderski

By Christine Swiderski

The still of the night

Clear as a bell

The moon catches the spell

Hearts of lovers cast their wish

Hoping each kiss

Will be sealed for eternity

Upon the cool of the moon

One day heating its surface

Bringing its brilliance

To that of the Sun

Dancing in the dew

Each droplet clings

To lovers bodies

Mingling with the passion

Shadows of the moon

Hide the lust with respect

Keeping the meeting

Within its core

Each night lovers

Add even more.
